As the Hotel is located on the D-Day Landing Beaches, there are museums nearby devoted to this major event in the Second World War. The Hotel's Director knows this period of history well and will be delighted to recommend the most interesting sites along the coast to visit. A little further away there is Bayeux with its Cathedral and Mathilde's famous tapestry which is now classified by Unesco as a World Heritage Site. Venture along the Normandy coast to visit the seaside towns of Cabourg with its racecourse, Deauville with its Boardwalk and Honfleur with its Old Port.
